Sensor Interface Module Model 1200 The RoTRACK Sensor Interface Module (SIM) is a complete, stand alone hardware package that accepts the sensor inputs and converts them to digital signals. The data can be stored at a user defined interval in the on board datalog memory. Each SIM contains a battery backup system that retains data in the event of power failure. Two serial ports are provided for either RS232 or RS422/485 communications. Multiple SIMs can be connected in a daisy chain fashion to provide additional monitoring capabilities.
